Having trouble watching FloSports on your Smart TV or streaming device? Start by checking the age of your device and making sure the FloSports app and your device software are up to date.
Check your device first
For the best streaming experience, we recommend using a Smart TV or streaming device manufactured in 2018 or newer.
Older devices may still support the FloSports app, but performance can vary due to older hardware and operating systems.
Before troubleshooting:
- Update the FloSports app.
- Check your TV or streaming device for software updates.
If you’re using an older device and continue having problems, try watching FloSports on a newer supported device.
Smart TV web browsers are not supported
Don’t use the web browser built into your Smart TV to watch FloSports. Use the FloSports app on your TV or streaming device instead.
Try another FloSports video
Before changing settings or reinstalling the app, try another event or video.
If another video works: The problem may be specific to the event or video you’re trying to watch.
If no FloSports videos work: Continue with the troubleshooting steps below.
Troubleshoot the FloSports app
- Close and reopen the FloSports app.
- Sign out of FloSports, then sign back in.
- Restart your TV or streaming device.
- Try FloSports again.
- If the problem continues, uninstall and reinstall the FloSports app.
If the app won’t open
If the FloSports app freezes, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open:
- Check for device software updates.
- Restart your device.
- Uninstall and reinstall the FloSports app.
If you’re using an older TV or streaming device, try FloSports on a newer device.
If you see a black screen
If you’re using a streaming device connected through HDMI:
- Make sure the streaming device is securely connected.
- Confirm your TV is set to the correct HDMI input.
- Reconnect the device and try again.
If other FloSports videos display normally, the problem may be specific to the event or video you’re trying to watch.
No audio
If the video plays but you can’t hear anything, see No Audio on FloSports for troubleshooting and information about events that may not include audio.
Buffering, freezing, or poor video quality
If the stream buffers, freezes, disconnects, lags, or has poor picture quality, see Improve Streaming Quality for internet and network troubleshooting.
