Some Varsity TV replay videos may not include audio due to music rights and licensing restrictions. While live broadcasts do include sound, the rights to include copyrighted music on all on-demand replays aren’t always available. As a result, certain replay recordings may play without audio.
In some cases, audio will be available when a performance is shown as a scheduled rebroadcast. Rebroadcasts take place at predetermined times and appear on the event schedule with audio included.
This applies to performance-based content across:
- Varsity TV
- FloMarching
- FloCheer
- FloVoice
This is expected behavior and is standard for cheer and similar performance content that uses copyrighted music.
