How to Sync FloCollege Schedules to Your Calendar

FloCollege Calendar Sync lets you add your favorite school's sports schedules to your personal calendar. You can follow individual sports or subscribe to all teams at a school.

When you subscribe to a calendar feed, schedule changes and cancellations automatically update in your calendar.

Sync a FloCollege Schedule

  1. Go to FloCollege.com.
  2. Select Conferences, then choose your school's conference.
  3. Select the Schools tab and choose your school.
  4. Select Sync To Calendar in the upper-right corner of the school's schedule.
  5. Choose the sports you want to follow:
    • Select individual sports, such as softball or basketball.
    • Select Subscribe to all teams to follow every sport at the school.
  6. Select Continue.
  7. Choose how you want to add the schedule to your calendar:
    • Add to [Selected Calendar]: Opens your calendar application so you can subscribe to the live calendar feed.
    • Copy Link: Copies the live calendar feed URL so you can manually subscribe through your calendar application.
    • Download .ics File: Downloads a one-time copy of the current schedule.

Get Automatic Schedule Updates

Use Add to [Selected Calendar] or Copy Link to subscribe to a live calendar feed.

Subscribed calendars automatically check for schedule updates every four hours. Changes such as new events, updated start times, and cancellations will appear when your calendar refreshes the feed.

Your subscription also rolls over to future seasons, so you do not need to subscribe again each year.

Does a downloaded .ics file update automatically?

No. A downloaded .ics file is a static copy of the schedule at the time you download it.

If an event is added, rescheduled, or canceled later, your downloaded calendar will not automatically reflect the change. Subscribe using Add to [Selected Calendar] or Copy Link if you want schedule updates.

  • Google Calendar
  • Apple Calendar
  • Outlook Desktop
  • Outlook on the web
  • Other calendar applications that support iCal calendar feeds

What Information Is Included in Calendar Events?

Each FloCollege calendar event includes:

  • The official event title
  • The scheduled start time
  • A standard three-hour event block
  • The event location or venue
  • A direct link to watch the live stream on FloCollege

The three-hour calendar block does not represent the expected length of the event. An event may end earlier or later.

Will Turning Off Background App Refresh Affect My Calendar?

No. Calendar subscriptions are managed by your calendar provider, such as Apple, Google, or Microsoft.

Turning off Background App Refresh or deleting the FloSports app will not stop your subscribed calendar feed from receiving schedule updates.

Remove a FloCollege Schedule From Your Calendar

You can remove a FloCollege schedule directly from your calendar application.

Find the subscribed FloCollege calendar in your calendar settings, then delete or unsubscribe from that calendar. Removing the calendar does not require changes to your FloSports account.
