We understand that accessing and managing your athlete profile is important. Occasionally, an athlete profile may be accidentally or incorrectly claimed by another user account. We take the accuracy of our profiles seriously and have a profile claim dispute process to help you resolve this quickly.
The Profile Dispute Process
If you believe your profile has been incorrectly claimed, please follow the steps below to initiate a profile claim dispute. Our team will need to verify your identity to ensure the profile is transferred to the rightful owner.
Step 1: Gather Necessary Identification
To verify your identity as the legitimate athlete or parent, you will need to provide at least two of the following pieces of information:
- Athlete date of birth and hometown
- Any other email address(es) that may have previously been associated with the profile
- Event name and invoice number from the most recent event registration
Step 2: Submit Your Dispute
Log in to your FloSports account. Click the Verified button in the top right corner of the profile.
Read the pop-up message and click the red Dispute button to continue.
In your dispute form submission, please include the following information:
- Your full name
- Your email address (the one you would like to be contacted at)
- Select FloWrestling as the Website/Sport
- Choose Athlete Profile as what you need help with
- In the Athlete Profile drop-down menu, choose Profile Claim Disputes
- Enter a subject for your message, such as “Profile Claim Dispute for John Smith”
- In the final text box, enter the gathered identification and a brief explanation of why you believe the profile was claimed incorrectly
- Click the red Submit button
- Click anywhere on the page to close the form
Once your claim dispute is submitted, our support team will respond within 48 hours.
